3. Gas adsorption properties: Tantalum effectively adsorbs gases released from metal components and glass at high temperatures (600–700°C). Particularly at 1200–1300°C, it stably adsorbs gases, ensuring the vacuum environment inside equipment remains intact.
4. Superior Mechanical Properties: Tantalum possesses outstanding strength and stability, making it ideal for manufacturing structurally robust, dimensionally stable anodes and grids. It is well-suited for equipment demanding high-temperature resistance and dimensional stability.

Applications of Niobium:
1. Low-Melting-Point Alloy Material: Pure niobium has a relatively low melting point, limiting its inherent high-temperature resistance. However, alloying niobium with tantalum significantly enhances its high-temperature performance. This alloy maintains excellent properties under extreme heat and pressure, finding widespread use in aerospace applications.
2. Superalloys and Catalysts: Niobium alloys with other metals are commonly used as high-temperature superalloys in jet engines, rocket engines, and other applications demanding extreme strength and thermal resistance.
3. Electronic Components: Niobium is extensively used in manufacturing specialized electronic components, particularly in environments requiring high temperatures or strong magnetic fields. Its exceptional electrical conductivity makes it an ideal choice for critical components.
