Electrovacuum materials can be divided into three categories
The first category includes electrical metals and alloys used in the manufacture of components and for other specialized applications.
The second category comprises insulating and semiconductor materials essential for the manufacture of components with electrical insulation and semiconductor properties.
The third category comprises specialized materials used to ensure the required device parameters and the stability of these parameters during operation.
All electrical materials, like electrical materials, can be classified as conductors, non-conductors, and non-conductors (dielectrics) based on their conductivity.
The electrostatic field in a conductor disappears almost instantly, while the electrostatic field in a dielectric can persist for a long time. Semiconductors fall between these two categories.
